Pre-Travel Academy
Overview
The 2026 Pre-Travel Academy is geared towards intramural players in 1st and 2nd Grade in the Fall of 2026 who love to play soccer and would like to have more opportunities to learn, develop and play. This is a supplemental program to the Colonial SC Fall Intramural program. While it is not required to try out for the Travel Team Program in the Spring of 2027, this program is geared towards players who are interested in doing so.

Eligibility
- Boys and Girls in 1st Grade as of Fall 2026 - eligible for U8 Travel in 2027/28
- Boys and Girls in 2nd Grade as of Fall 2026 - eligible for U9 Travel in 2027/28
- This program is for intramural players only and are a supplement not a replacement for the Colonial SC Intramural Program.
- Players may not be rostered travel players with Colonial SC or any other club to participate in Colonial SC intramural programs. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Curriculum
- Players will engage in activities that replicate the game with a focus on improving technical skills and developing a tactical understanding of the game.
- Dribbling
- Ball Control
- 1v1 Attacking & Defending
- Shooting
- 7v7 Positions and Formations known as Systems of Play
- 7v7 scrimmages during the clinics where the "coaching in the game" methodology will be employed to instruct players on positioning, the buildout line, and laws of the game.
- Coaches will be learning in a "Coach the Coach" format while working with the players under Danielle's guidance as well as other professional soccer trainers.

INTRO TO PRE-TRAVEL ACADEMY
- Sundays 6/7 & 6/14 (6/21 Make up if needed)

FALL PROGRAM 2026
Training: Sundays 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25 (Rain Date 11/1)
- 4:30-5:30 pm 1st Graders as of Fall 2026
- 5:45-6:45 pm 2nd Graders as of Fall 2026
Location: Greater Plymouth Community Center Upper Fields (Walton Rd Entrance & Parking Lot)

- Whitpain Tournament: 11/14 Girls & 11/15 Boys
- Langhorne Neshaminy United Tournament: 11/21 Girls & 11/22 Boys
Cost: $269 includes 4 60-minute training sessions with professional training, uniform jersey for practices and tournaments.
