Special Issues
Referee schedules are still being worked out.
Coordinators should keep checking in with coaches on issues/problems.
CSC was informed by TD Bank that we do not have overdraft protection on our operating account. $175 in overdraft fees were assessed of which TD Bank refunded $70. CSC sincerely apologizes to anyone who received a check that bounced. Kris Kaufmann resigned as treasurer. Treasurer position is officially open.
New Website:
Renee mentioned Colorgraphics cd is available if we want team pictures for the new website. Board, coaches and coordinators are being asked to review pages for accuracy. Rob Brown submitted an invoice to club for $500 for website development. Discussion of Rob’s invoice ensued. Board agreed that Rob was not contracted for his work for the website therefore they do not believe they should have to pay his invoice. Renee will draft a letter to Rob explaining the board’s position.
Select Team:
Dawn is working on getting this up and running.

Food Drive:
U12 Boys and Girls are hosting the CSC food drive to benefit Colonial Neighborhood Council. All teams are being asked to put together 3 grocery bags of food and bring them to the drive on October 16. Food drive, Bill Lapp Festival and Union Player appearance will all be happening on October 16 at Victory Fields.
Who is Bill Lapp? Bob O’Neill will help draft a history to be added to the website.
Union Partnership Invoice is now due. Some concerns were raised that we did not utilize all the benefits of the partnership. The club got back approximately $2,000 from ticket sales. Invoice for next year is $8,233. All were in favor of doing it again for next year.

Chief of Referees – Ivan Bell:
Concerned have been expressed by parents mainly of 1st grade boys and 1st/2nd grade girls that they got such a late start. Unfortunately a coordinator was not found for those divisions until very late. It was suggested that maybe an email explaining the process should be sent to parents to avoid this in the future.
